We are looking for trustees to join the NWFed board. We are an independent membership organisation for the museum and heritage sector and our current focus is to grow membership, cultivate new partnerships, diversify our reach, and deliver a range of inclusive activities to support museum professionals and volunteers in the North West.
In order to support our programme by contributing expertise and experience to our professional development events and in-conversations, we are particularly looking for people with programming or marketing skills (ideally with experience of managing email lists and databases) within the museum and heritage sector in the North West. We welcome people at all stages of their careers.
This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and broaden your contacts and understanding of museums and galleries across the North West. You would be required to attend five online board meetings per year and one Annual General Meeting, as well as some additional work to support our events (in-person and on-line).
We welcome applications from anyone regardless of sex, gender identity, disability, ethnicity, religion or belief, sexual orientation, marital or transgender status, age or nationality.
If you are interested in joining our team please email Helen Fairs at chair@nwfed.org.uk by Monday 25 November 2024 outlining your experience and why you are interested in volunteering with us.
